About Me
Welcome! 👋
Hi, I'm Marcin Wilk, and I want to become a developer. I come from a small village in Poland, but I've spent the past few years in Tokyo, where I'm currently finishing my studies at a Japanese university. At the end of March 2027, I plan to return to my home region in Poland and start a new chapter in my life. I've completed a three-month internship at an IT company and am now looking for new opportunities to continue growing my career in the tech industry.
I've been building projects with technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Through one of the best self-paced online curriculums, The Odin Project, I built a solid foundation in both frontend and backend development. I am also interested in cloud architecture because I believe cloud is the future, and earning the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification strengthened that interest even more.
Why do I want to become a developer?
I enjoy building useful solutions that can make someone's work easier or more effective. Creating something practical and seeing it solve a real problem is what makes this path feel rewarding to me.
